Education & workshops
Sunshine Rabbit Center is in the process of developing workshops and other educational events to help new bunny owners and potential adopters learn about rabbit care. Events will address topics like setting up a home space for domestic rabbits, what to do in a rabbit medical emergency, how to create special homemade treats and toys for your rabbit. We also look forward to collaborating with other non-profits and local groups on future educational programs.

Commitment to community
Sunshine Rabbit Center is on a mission to help domestic rabbits in need and support the Southern California rabbit community. We are run by a dedicated group of staff volunteers who love our own rabbits and are passionate about helping others build safe, happy homes for their rabbits. We are building collaborations with local shelters, rescues, and fellow non-profits in the south Los Angeles and Long Beach areas.
The Sunshine Rabbit Center team is proud to be a diverse group that welcomes rabbit lovers from all walks of life. Animal rescue belongs to everyone!
Social events & fun!
Taking care of rescue rabbits is important work, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun! As part of commit to create and support community, Sunshine Rabbit Center hopes to run social events like:
Rabbit play dates (RHDV2 vaccination required)
Support groups for rabbit owners
Yoga with bunnies
