Kids ages 5 - 11 are invited to join our Junior Rescue Crew! Help the rescue bunnies by serving as a junior “volunteer.” Learn about bunnies and bunny care, make toys and treats for bunnies, and meet some of our featured buns.

Junior Rescue meets one Sunday morning each month, 10:00-11:30 am at our center in Long Beach, CA. Click here to see upcoming sessions & register your child’s spot.

$20 per child. Registration required. Tickets are non-refundable; proceeds support rescue rabbits. Adults, please plan to stay for the session. Price includes:

• Educational session led by Sunshine staff

• Materials for bunny toy and/or treat making activities

• Gentle interactions with rabbits

• Drink and light snack

Big kids can help the rescue bunnies, too! Children ages 12+ and adults are invited to register for one of our Veg with Bunnies sessions, a chance to help socialize the bunnies and get them ready for adoption.

Special deal! Junior Rescue Crew participants have the chance to buy a special “volunteer” shirt for only $10 ($20 value). Look like a real rescuer with Sunshine Rabbit Center gear!
