Sunshine Rabbit Center is a community hub based in Long Beach, CA with a mission to help domestic rabbits and the families who love them. We partner with municipal shelters and fellow rescue organizations to find caring adopters for rabbits who need safe homes. We also host educational and social events and provide helpful services for our rabbit families, like boarding, bonding, and grooming. We are proud to offer a diverse, supportive environment that welcomes both new and experienced bunny owners. We’re all learning together!

Please note: We receive many questions from individuals who have found rabbits or who are looking for new homes for their buns. Unfortunately, we are not currently taking found or relinquished rabbits. For suggestions of other organizations who may be able to help, please see our “Rehoming Your Rabbit” page.

Adoptions
We’re so excited that you’re interested in adopting a rabbit (or rabbits) of your own! We love placing bunnies into safe, caring homes. You can learn more about our adoption process and see our current adoptable bunnies. When you’re ready, you can also fill out an application to adopt.
Matchmaking & bonding
Looking for that special someone (or someones) for your rabbit? Bunnies love living in pairs, trios, and more. But they’re picky about their friends and the bonding process can be hard, long, and stressful. We’re here to help. Learn more about our matchmaking & bonding services. When you’re ready, you can also fill out an inquiry form to get the process started.
Boarding
We know you want to leave your bunnies in good hands when you go away. Whether you’re going away for a short jaunt or a long trip, we have you covered. We provide a safe, clean, loving environment for your buns run by staff and volunteers who are all bun parents themselves. Learn more about boarding and make a reservation.
Grooming
To keep them healthy and happy, rabbits need regular grooming and nail trims. Luckily our experts are ready to lend a hand. Visit our grooming page, schedule an appointment with our professional groomer for a full grooming, or just stop by any time during our open hours for a nail trim and gland cleaning. Your bunnies can also get groomed while they board. Bunny spa day!
Sunshine Rabbit Center is your one-stop shop for all your rabbit needs! We have everyday supplies like pellets, bedding, treats, and toys at prices that match the big box stores. We also have fun, unique gifts for rabbit lovers. Our bestseller is our hay, which we bag fresh each week. Education & events
At Sunshine Rabbit Center, we believe in coming together to share knowledge, support our community, and bond over our love of bunnies.
