Meet our adoptable bunnies!
We’re excited that you’re interested in adopting from Sunshine Rabbit Center! To read more about our adoption process and what we look for in a bunny’s new home, visit our Adoption page.
If you’d like to meet one or more of the bunnies you see below, you’re welcome to fill out our Adoption Application—or you can visit Sunshine in person during our open hours. If we’re not too busy (feel free to call ahead to check), we’re happy to set you up a spot to sit with the bunnies and see who wins your heart.
We try our best to keep this list up to date, but sometimes a bunny’s availability changes quickly—whether because they’ve been adopted or have shifted into foster. You’re welcome to get in touch to ask about the availability of a specific bunny.

Fig is curious, smart, adventurous, and loves to explore. Her mom was a lop but Fig’s ears go up - with is why they’re so long and fun! Fig just came back from a vacation with a foster family. They say that once she came out of her shell, Fig was the life of the party. She’s very social and even loves to climb on her human friends!

Ryan
Ryan is a five year old English Spot and a total sweetheart! He's social, patient, and loves pets. He came to us from the Carson shelter where he waited a long time to find his forever home. Ryan is a great candidate for matchmaking with a girl bun or life in a family with gentle and responsible kids.
Male, birthdate January 2025
Woody
Woody is an adorable little brown bunny who is looking for a forever home or loving foster with humans who can help him feel comfortable. Woody came to us from the Orange County shelter; a family there adopted him, treated him unkindly, and then returned him for being aggressive. We think he was probably just scared (poor guy!) but the experience has left him a little shaken. We’re hoping a kind, patient adopter is out there who can turn Woody’s luck around.

Sienna
Sienna is the cutest little lionhead - a pocket-sized bunny who is probably mixed with a dwarf. We often get requests for lionheads and dwarfs, and Sienna is a little of both. She’s a shy girl who is still coming out of her shell, but with the right human she is all snuggles. She came to Sunshine from the Long Beach city shelter, who found her abandoned on the street. Can you imagine leaving her outside to fend for herself? Now Sienna is looking for a calm, gentle, loving forever home.
Male, birthdate May 2025
Soap - RECENTLY
Meet Soap! Soap is our newest adoptable bunny at Sunshine - a beautiful, sweet gray and white boy. He came to us from one of the Los Angeles shelters just in time to avoid being scooped up as an Easter bunny. Now he has a chance to find the right loving, responsible forever home.
Female, birthdate July 2025, breed: Heli-Lop
Whisper
Whisper is a young, energetic girl bunny who is still learning to trust the nice people around her. She’s a heli-lop, which means sometimes her ears flop down and sometimes they go up. Whisper was part of a litter of bunnies born at the Harbor shelter, along with her siblings Star and Fig. She would be a great bunny for a family who is rabbit savvy and enjoys being patient with a bun who needs time to come out of her shell.
